Winter is Coming

Fan art after ages!
I've gotten a break from work and some time to draw, so I'm dusting off the blog. Game of Thrones season 3 would be out by Easter. Having read the third book, "A Storm of Swords", I have no doubt that this one will be a shocker for those who don't know the story.. Can't wait to see how they've portrayed those very important turn of events! :D

Jon Snow is up first with his loyal companion, Ghost. I'm hoping to make more fan art before the show starts, but considering my resolutions so far, I'm not sure whether I'll be able to :/ Would be fun to experiment with different characters and styles, could learn a bit about caricatures as well!

Busy with work!

I'd really like to get back to learning digital painting :( But I've got deadlines coming up!
Meanwhile, some doodles from imagination.. A comic strip and two still life paintings.. I would say I'll post more soon, but the deadlines loom like dark clouds over my head. :/

More practice in painting

Well.. Looks like it's been awhile since I've uploaded anything.. I have been working on studies and stuff, but they didn't seem like much to be uploading. So let's start with last week's progress, in the order they were painted/drawn :

Starting with myy angry and thinner (according to cricits) self portrait!

Now we come to a random scribble in photoshop, which turned out to look pretty nice..

And a photo study of a random photo off the internet, the study so that I can get a better hang of digital painting..
